Case Study — Mobile App UX/UI

We Care

Context

The Problem

We Care connects families with caregivers across three service lines — child care, housekeeping, and elderly care. I designed the product end-to-end as pure UX/UI: roughly 40 screens per language, delivered in English, Kurdish, and Arabic, including the RTL mirroring and re-typesetting the Arabic layout demands.

Because trust is the whole product, every screen was built to earn it before asking for commitment: ratings and live availability on every list row, vetting details and reviews on every profile, and a booking flow that shows exactly what is being paid for before payment is ever requested.

The Product

Screens & Decisions

We Care — screen 1
Home — greets the user by name and leads with top-rated caregivers; ratings and availability are the first things seen, not buried.
We Care — screen 2
Caregiver list — hourly rate, star rating, and live availability on every row, so the decision data is visible before a single tap.
We Care — screen 3
Caregiver profile — experience, skills, and reviews do the vetting; a “booked 5 times in the last 2 months” line reinforces the trust.
We Care — screen 4
Booking form — the user’s own details arrive pre-filled; the form starts where the user already is.
We Care — screen 5
Filled state — the care-receiver block (who, age, gender) appears for care services; housekeeping never sees it.
We Care — screen 6
Date selection — the calendar opens in context, today’s date ringed, with the running total always in view.
We Care — screen 7
First selection — the chosen start day fills immediately: feedback before commitment.
We Care — screen 8
Range selected — the band highlights and the sticky bar updates live: 15 days, $135, CTA enabled.
We Care — screen 9
Review — caregiver, dates, and both parties’ details in one glance before any payment.
We Care — screen 10
Local-first payment — FastPay in IQD beside USD cash on delivery, at a consistent conversion rate.
We Care — screen 11
Success — a clear end state with an obvious way back home.
We Care — screen 12
Account — details editable, notifications toggleable, and an honest, reachable delete path.
